  • Assisted Mubadala Capital in the acquisition of an 80% stake in Instituto de Ensino em Saúde S.A., the holding company for the medical courses of UniFTC and Unece - UnisulBahia.
  • Advised New Fortress Energy Inc. and Ebrasil Energia Ltda. in the sale of 100% of CELSE, one of the largest gas-fired power plants in operation in Latin America, and CEBRRA, which holds expansion rights adjacent to the Sergipe Power Plant, to Eneva S.A.
  • Advised Vale S.A. on the sale of a deactivated industrial plant for the production of manganese ferroalloys located in Simões Filho, Bahia, held by Vale Manganês S.A., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Vale S.A., to Minasligas S.A.
  • Assisted Brookfield in the sale of 100% of the total shares/quotas issued by Topázio Energética S.A., Santa Ana Energética S.A., and Brasil Central Energia LTDA. to CSN Cimentos S.A. and CSN Energia S.A., which owns two small hydroelectric power plants (PCH), PCH Santa Ana, located in Angelina/SC.
  • Advised Vibra Energia on the acquisition of a 50% stake in Comerc Participações SA.

EDUCATION

Renato Stanley has over 12 years of experience in tax law, focusing on corporate income tax consultancy, domestic and international tax planning, taxation of M&A transactions, investment funds, corporate restructurings, infrastructure projects, and specialized taxation consultancy for the industrial sector. His practice includes strategic tax litigation, with experience in administrative proceedings and consultations at the Federal, State, and Municipal levels of the Public Administration.
