Advised a large multinational company in the metal packaging sector on the negotiation of Special Regimes for the establishment of its factories in Minas Gerais and the Zona Franca de Manaus.
Advised the Abu-Dhabi Sovereign Fund (Mubadala), the Forbes & Manhattan Fund and 3R Petroleum on the transition of the Mataripe Refinery, Petrosix and Pólo Potiguar, respectively, part of the Petrobras divestment process, especially on indirect taxation and customs.
Advised a consortium of banks on the financing of the UTE GNA II thermoelectric plant, owned by Gás Natural Açu, in particular the tax aspects relating to the plant's operations.
Advised several clients on privatization processes in the electricity sector, including the privatization of the distributors of the Eletrobras group, CELG-D, COELCE and COPEL.
Advised Warrington, an affiliate of GIC (Singapore's sovereign wealth fund), on the acquisition of a 50% stake in Neoenergia Transmissora, which owns eight power transmission assets totaling 1,900 km of transmission lines. The work also included the negotiation of a framework agreement for joint participation in future transmission auctions in Brazil.

- Specialization in Civil Procedural Law from the Academia Brasileira de Direito Constitucional, and in Tax Law from the Instituto Brasileiro de Direito Tributário (IBDT).
- MBA in Corporate Tax Law from Estação Business School Curitiba.

Mariana has vast experience in tax advisory related to VAT and other indirect taxes at Federal, State and Municipal levels. She assists large Brazilian and foreign companies operating in different economic sectors, such as electric and green energy, oil and gas, infrastructure, logistics and technology.
