Advised Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC, as global coordinator, and BofA Securities, Bradesco BBI, Itaú BBA, and Santander (Brasil), as joint bookrunners, on the international public offering of senior secured notes by Açu Petróleo Luxembourg, structured as project finance, in the amount of USD 600 million.
Advised Banco Bradesco, Banco do Brasil, Banco Votorantim, and Banco Sumitomo Mitsui Brasileiro in structuring bank guarantees for financing, under the project finance modality, in the amount of R$2 billion granted by BNDES for the UTE Marlim Azul I project (awarded LNG-to-power Deal of the Year by IJ Global).
Advised Banco ABC Brasil and ING Bank on a cross-border long-term financing operation involving the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), in the total amount of R$450 million, for the expansion of the Port of Itapoá in Santa Catarina (awarded Latin Finance Port Financing of the Year by Latin Finance).
Advised Banco do Brasil, Itaú Unibanco, and Banco da Amazônia on a long-term financing of R$950 million for the transshipment and river logistics project operated by subsidiaries of Hidrovias do Brasil S.A. (awarded Latin American Ports Deal of the Year by IJGlobal).
Advised Total Eren, Echoenergia, and Proton Energy (an investment of funds managed by Prisma Capital, now integrated into Matrix Energia) in a total of 20 project finance financing operations, including public debenture offerings, structuring of bank guarantees, and financing contracts.

Marco Saliba has extensive experience in project finance. With over 12 years of experience in project finance and infrastructure, including local and cross-border structured financing transactions. Marco has worked for major law firms and corporations and was a foreign associate at the Mori, Hamada, and Matsumoto office in Tokyo.
