  • Assisted agents and ALB Lenders as Brazilian counsel in the restructuring of project financings totaling approximately US$ 700 million for three drillships owned by subsidiaries of Constellation Amaralina Star Ltd., Laguna Star Ltd., and Brava Star Ltd. This transaction was awarded "Restructuring Deal of the Year" by Latin Lawyer.
  • Advised the Engie/CDPQ consortium on the acquisition of Transportadora Associada de Gás – TAG from Petrobras, including local and international acquisition finance. Transaction valued at approximately R$34 billion. This deal won awards for "Cross-border M&A Deal of the Year," "O&G Financing Deal of the Year," "M&A (Private) Deal of the Year," "LatAm Deal of the Year," and "Deal of the Year" from Latin Finance, Latin Lawyer, Thompson Reuters, and IFLR.
  • Assisted the coordinators in the local debenture offering of UTE GNA I Geração de Energia S.A., aimed at refinancing debts with the IFC, totaling R$ 1.8 billion. Also acted as local counsel for KfW-IPEX in the operation, a co-creditor of the debenture holders. This transaction was awarded "Refinancing Deal of the Year" by Latin Finance.
  • Advised Petrorio group and coordinators on notes offerings in the international market and on incentivized debentures in Brazil, with the latter being the first issuance by an oil company in Brazil, totaling over R$4 billion in combined transactions.
  • Regularly advises Equatorial Energia, Vast, GALP, Energisa, EDF, among others, in electricity auctions and project development, as well as in negotiating implementation contracts for these clients' projects.

Bruno has been representing sponsors and financial institutions in the infrastructure sector in highly complex financial transactions, including debt restructuring, as well as mergers and acquisitions operations in the local or international market, acting as local counsel. Bruno also works in project development, with extensive experience in assisting in the structuring of infrastructure projects and related contracts such as offtake, EPC, O&M, equipment supply, among others.
