  • Advised GIC (Singapore sovereign fund) on several significant transactions in recent years, including a co-investment in V.Tal (fiber optic operator) alongside funds managed by BTG Pactual, within the context of OI's judicial recovery, in one of the largest operations ever conducted in the sector, involving approximately R$12 billion.
  • Recently advised GIC on a significant investment in the transmission assets of Neonergia.
  • Advised Aligned Energy (a Macquarie affiliate) on the global acquisition of Odata's data center business, in one of the most relevant cross-border transactions involving Brazilian assets in recent years.
  • Advised GALP Energia on the sale of participation in pre-salt blocks to the Chinese state-owned company SINOPEC, in an operation involving approximately EUR5.2 billion.
  • Advised Paper Excellence on the acquisition of Eldorado Brasil Celulose, with an approximate value of R$14 billion.
  • Advised GIC on important investments in highway concessions, in partnership with funds managed by Patria (PIPA and CART).
  • Advised Digital Bridge on the acquisition of data centers from the Uol Group (now Scala Datacenters).
  • Advised PwC on the sale of the global mobility business to funds managed by Clayton, Dubilier & Rice.
  • Advised a group of international institutional investors, including GIC, CIC, OTPP, and J.C. Flowers and Co on an important investment in Banco BTG Pactual.
  • Advised the State of São Paulo on the sale of Banco Nossa Caixa S.A. to Banco do Brasil.
  • Initial public offerings and follow-ons for OGX Oil and Gas, Gerdau, Rumo Operadora, Biosev, Magazine Luiza, EDP Energia, Natura Cosméticos, among others.
  • 144A/Reg S offerings of high yield bonds for the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago, Banco Santander, Banco do Brasil, and Frigorífico Minerva, among others.

EDUCATION

Bruno has over 15 years of experience in mergers and acquisitions, with a focus on representing local and foreign investors in complex transactions involving assets in various sectors in Brazil.


He also has notable experience in equity capital markets transactions, representing underwriters and issuers in significant deals in Brazil and abroad.


Bruno also advises local and foreign clients on various corporate matters, including corporate governance, corporate restructuring, and administrative proceedings before the Brazilian Securities and Exchange Commission (CVM).


From 2013 to 2014, Bruno was an international associate at Davis Polk & Wardwell LLP.


He is a co-author of the book "Themes in Banking Law and Capital Markets," as well as articles in industry publications.
