  • Advised Itaú BBA and XP Investimentos on structuring and the first public offering (IPO) of the Patria Infraestrutura Energia Core Investment Fund in the amount of R$500 million.
  • Advised Banco BTG on structuring and the first public offering (IPO) of the BTG Pactual InfraCo Master Multi-strategy Investment Fund worth over R$15 billion.
  • Advised the banking syndicate (BTG, Credit Suisse, Itaú BBA, and Santander) on structuring and the first public offering (IPO) of the Prisma Proton Energia Infrastructure Investment Fund worth R$470 million.
  • Advised Vórtx QR Tokenizadora on the establishment of a Tokenizadora and organized market for trading tokens representing securities under the regulatory Sandbox of the CVM.
  • Advised asset managers on the establishment of the first ETFs dedicated to cryptoassets.

EDUCATION

Bernardo works on issues related to the financial and capital markets, particularly in financial regulation and the structuring of investment funds and innovative transactions.


He has experience in advising and representing financial institutions, asset managers, fiduciary administrators, intermediaries, and fintechs on regulatory matters with the Central Bank of Brazil (BCB), the Brazilian Securities and Exchange Commission (CVM), the Brazilian Financial and Capital Markets Association (ANBIMA), and B3 S.A. - Brazil, Stock Exchange, and Over-the-Counter Market (B3).


He is a consultant to the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) and coordinator of the Fintechs Working Group within the LAB - Financial Innovation Laboratory, organized by the IDB, CVM, and ABDE.


For over 3 years, he was part of the Regulatory Studies area at ANBIMA, participating in key discussions and regulatory enhancements in the financial and capital markets.
