Assisted Forbes & Manhattan Resources Inc. in the environmental legal aspects of the acquisition process of the Shale Industrialization Unit (SIX) from Petrobras S.A.;
Assisted MUFG, Mizuho SMBC, and NEXI in the context of the restructuring and judicial recovery process filed by Samarco Mineração S.A., with emphasis on the analysis and monitoring of the environmental licensing process and environmental lawsuits involving the mining company;
Assisted a relevant Brazilian organization in mapping the implications related to the issuance of Federal Decree No. 11,075/2022 to its sector, especially regarding the Sectoral Plans for Mitigating Climate Change;
Assisted a relevant Brazilian industry in structuring ASG governance policies and systems.

EDUCATION

Beatriz has been involved in infrastructure projects, M&A, real estate acquisitions, and capital market transactions in recent years, including those related to carbon projects, conducting legal risk assessments and socio-environmental opportunities. Beatriz also works in dispute prevention and resolution, including drafting memoranda and legal opinions on various topics involving environmental and climate law, as well as representing clients in administrative and judicial proceedings. Additionally, Beatriz has experience in structuring Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) policies and systems in Brazilian companies.
