..registration of acts with commercial boards and the holding of general shareholders' meetings, meetings or meetings of partners and general meetings of remote members and CVM edits new deliberation extending certain deadlines set out in its regulations. The Federal Government published, on March 30, 2020, Provisional Measure nº 931 (“Provisional Measure 931”), which, as a result of the state of public calamity referred to in Legislative Decree nº 6 of 2020, published due to the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic: (a) postpones the date for holding ordinary general meetings of corporations, limited liability companies and cooperatives; (b) extends deadlines and temporarily waives obligations to register acts with commercial boards; and (c) allows the holding of general meetings of shareholders of closely-held companies, meeting or meetings of partners and general meetings of members remotely.
