Julia has been working for over 10 years in matters concerning corporate law, capital markets and investment funds, particularly with innovative structures and assisting listed companies, managers, investment funds and intermediaries with regulatory issues involving the Brazilian Securities and Exchange Commission (CVM), Brazilian Financial and Capital Markets Association (ANBIMA) and the Brazilian Exchange B3 S.A. – Brasil, Bolsa e Balcão (B3).
Her experience was obtained at both private and public sectors. She was Counsel and Chief of Staff of CVM’s Chairman from 2013 to 2015, period in which actively participated in the process of discussion and drafting of the new investment funds rule, took part in working group structured to discuss several issued regarding securitization, and participated of various regulatory discussions.
Before joining the Federal Government, Julia was associate of Motta, Fernandes Rocha Advogados, and after leaving CVM, was Partner of Cantidiano Advogados.
Bachelor of Laws Degree (LL.B.) from Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro (PUC-RJ) – 2008. Executive Masters in Business Administration (M.B.A) – 2013. Member of the Brazilian Bar Association.
